Activities and Amenities
Riddlesworth was a former thoroughbred horse stud that has been redeveloped with a newly built Southern Colonial style home and a separate Guest House specifically designed to provide fine accommodation for the discerning traveller.

Fly Fishing
The property is bordered on two sides by the Ruamahanga River, one of the area's major rivers. Access to the river is available from the property for brown and rainbow trout fishing. details

Tennis
Enjoy a game of tennis on our newly constructed all-weather, artificial grass, tennis court - racquets and balls are provided. details

Swimming pool
A newly constructed swimming pool is located adjacent to the main house and is available for use by our guests during the summer months.

Billiards Room
We took an old building on the property and remodelled it with native wood flooring and panelling, to accomodate an antique billiards table. Enjoy a game of biiliards or simply relax on the verandah overlooking our orchard. details

Wine Tasting
The area's temperate climate is well suited for the production of high quality wines, in particular Pinot Noir. details

Other Activities
A wide range of activities are available in the area including ballooning, horseback riding, hiking, antique shopping, golf, bike tours, bird watching, plus a variety of festivals throughout the year. We will be happy to assist in organising any activities that may interest you. details
